Paternity DNA Tests in Selangor
Selangor is also known as the “Abode of Sincerity” and is found on the west coast of the Malaysian peninsula and surrounds the territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya both of which used to be under Selangor’s sovereignty. Being the richest state and the most populated in Malaysia it has a very well developed infrastructure with good highways and transport and lots of green spaces.
I-City is a good place to start your Selangor adventure, it is one of the family attractions and there is an indoor snow park with ice houses, snowmen and outdoors a digital lights forest and fairground rides. If you prefer to be outside in the warm, the Sunway lagoon is a top theme park attraction, one of the best in Asia some say, with amusements, rides and wildlife. If you enjoy motor racing then visit the Sepang International circuit, the home for Malaysia’s Formula 1 racing events. You can take the children go-karting and to the car museum for a bit of fun for all the family.
Selangor is not traditionally a beach destination as the coast is lined with mangroves and is all a bit muddy but if you head to Bagan Lalang, Batu Laut and Morib these are not so bad and Bagan Lalang boasts the Golden Palm Tree resort which is the Malaysian version of Dubai’s Palm island.
If you like seafood, go on a trip to Crab Island, the ferry journey itself is interesting and from here you can spot the Chinese fishing community. There is a lovely quiet corner of Selangor, Kuala Selangor, where there is an old lighthouse and friendly monkeys with a large colony of fireflies housed in a nature park. There is a new Latar expressway to Kuala Selangor with was opened in 2011 and has reduced journey times somewhat.
The Paya Indah near Putrajaya is a man-made wetlands area with crocodiles and hippos to look at. It is also possible to take part in some bird watching, kayaking and fishing if you want to.
The best place for hiking is up on Klang Gates Quartz Ridge, there is an invigorating walk to be had along the spine of the quartz dyke and offers stunning vistas across to Kuala Lumpur. This is a well- kept secret and would be rather more popular if more people knew about it luckily it is still a hidden gem.
Malaysia is not complete without a trip to a temple: Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Buddhist temple at Jenjarom is one of the lesser known temples and is worth a visit especially at Chinese New Year when they will be celebrating.
